Chinese Zi Char (煮炒), literally “cook fry”, are Chinese home-syle dishes eaten at humble local eateries and coffee shops in Singapore. A huge variety of a la carte dishes, mainly categorised into meat, fish, chicken, vegetables, egg/tofu, rice, noodle and soup are available on demand. Diners who come as a group will usually order a few dishes from each category; these dishes will be placed in the middle of the table to be eaten communally.
Chinatown Traditional Kitchen is located at 28 Mosque Street, Chinatown, Singapore.
