Artwork Description

Walking through the rainforest here in Singapore, I’ve taken many photos as inspiration for my artworks. I love the way that the light shines through the trees. Sometimes this is seen as patches of dappled sunlight, forming little golden dots. Other times they are rays of golden light streaming through.

In Japan there is a concept called ‘forest bathing’. This is a time when busy office workers take time off to go for a walk in the forest. This is a time where they reconnect with nature, breathe in, rest.  In a sense, they let the beauty of nature bathe their souls.

The forest has a beautiful spirit and energy that can both calm and revitalise.  Personally, I find that time out in nature is when my spirit feels alive and connects to the Creator.  This artwork is a reflection of this beauty, when light shines in.

Shipping & Delivery

For local orders, delivery and installation can be arranged.

For international orders, canvas artworks will be taken off the frame and delivered rolled up in a sturdy cardboard tube. Framing instructions will be included, which can be taken to any framer.
